Disinterment:
- An application for the disinternment of a body must be made at the Cemetery Office. Permission must be based upon the application of the husband or wife, child or children, or next-of-kin of the deceased person.
- The body of a person who died from a contagious disease shall not be allowed to be disinterred before the expiration of five years from the date of burial.
- In the event of disinterment, the casket will not be opened for viewing the remains.
- Permits must be obtained for the removal from St. Joseph’s Cemetery to another Cemetery.
- Appointments for the date of removals will be made by the Management of the Cemetery.
- No services of any kind are permitted on the Cemetery grounds at the time of removal of bodies, either from the Cemetery or from place to place within the Cemetery.
- All disinterments are charged according to the difficulties involved in the removal. Payment should be made before the completion of the disinterment
